Intermountain Health is seeking a Culinary Services Leader at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver to oversee patient meal operations and nutrition support. The role partners with nursing, ensures therapeutic diets are followed, and trains frontline staff to deliver high-quality, cost-conscious patient meals.

The candidate will drive clinical best practices, manage HR functions, and monitor quality and satisfaction in collaboration with system-level directors.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Nutrition or Management; RD with CDRE within 6 months of hire.
• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required by first day (Utah/Idaho only).
• ServSafe certification within 90 days if not current.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and e-mail, scheduling, and tracking systems.
• Experience in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees daily operations of patient meal services.
• Collaborates with nursing to meet patients’ needs and ensure guideline adherence.
• Leads patient meal areas and trains in therapeutic diets.
• Ensures diets follow provider orders and cost-effective service delivery.
• Provides value-based leadership for high-performing teams and accountable operations.
• Manages HR functions: hiring, training, mentoring, evaluating, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensures food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Monitors quality and satisfaction scores; plans improvements with system-level directors.
• Communicates nutrition expertise to healthcare providers.
• Works with clinical team on patient diet orders and concerns.
