Intermountain Health is seeking a leadership role in the Culinary Service department to manage patient meal operations at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO. The position focuses on delivering exceptional patient experiences through diet-aware meal service and staff development.

You will lead dietary teams, collaborate with nursing, train in therapeutic diets, and ensure safety, quality, and cost-effective service delivery in a hospital setting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Nutrition or Management; RD certification within 6 months.
• ServSafe certification required by first day of work where applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and scheduling apps.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily operations of patient meal services and staffing.
• Partner with nursing to meet patients’ needs and ensure guidelines.
• Lead patient meal areas and train in therapeutic diets.
• Coordinate with frontline staff to follow provider orders.
• Implement clinical best practices to deliver care at appropriate cost.
• Provide value-based leadership in accountable teams and operations.
• Handle HR tasks including hiring, training, mentoring, evaluating and discipline.
• Ensure food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor quality and satisfaction scores and drive improvement.
• Collaborate with clinical team on diet orders and concerns.
