Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Nutrition or Management required.
• Registered Dietitian credential within 6 months of hire.
• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required by first day in Utah/Idaho states; others may vary.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage diverse teams; effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily hospital patient meal services and staff.
• Collaborates with nursing to meet patient dietary needs and guidelines.
• Train and coach front-line caregivers on therapeutic diets and orders.
• Implements clinical best practices to balance care quality and cost.
• Leads HR activities: hiring, training, mentoring, evaluations, conflicts.
• Ensures food safety and regulatory compliance; monitors quality and satisfaction.
