Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Nutrition or Management.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration within 6 months.
• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required by first day of work (Utah/Idaho states).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of patient meal services.
• Partners with nursing to educate and align on patient needs.
• Leads patient meal areas; trains on therapeutic diets.
• Ensures diets follow provider orders and guidelines.
• Delivers value-based leadership and builds high-performing teams.
• Manages HR functions including hiring, training, mentoring, and discipline.
• Monitors food safety and regulatory compliance; tracks quality and satisfaction.
