Intermountain Healthcare Inc. in Denver, CO is seeking a leader to oversee Patient Services within the Culinary Services department of Saint Joseph Hospital. You will manage daily operations, ensure therapeutic diets are implemented per provider orders, and collaborate with nursing to educate on patient meals.

This role leads teams, drives quality and safety initiatives, and ensures regulatory compliance while delivering excellent patient experiences at a sustainable cost.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Nutrition or Management; RD required within 6 months.
• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification is required by first day of work (required only in the states of Utah and Idaho).
• ServSafe certification obtained within 90 days of hire date if not current.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily operations of patient meal services.
• Partner with nursing to educate and ensure guidelines are followed.
• Lead patient meal areas and train in therapeutic diets.
• Coordinate with frontline caregivers to follow provider orders.
• Implement clinical best practices to deliver care at appropriate cost.
• Provide value-based leadership to establish high functioning teams.
• Handle HR functions including hiring, training, evaluating, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure food safety standards and regulatory guidelines are met.
• Monitor quality and satisfaction scores; develop improvement plans.
• Collaborate with clinical team to address diet orders.
