Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in hospital food service environments.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with patients and staff.
• Ability to multitask, route calls, greet patients, place orders, and troubleshoot food issues.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient meal orders via call center or bedside and orient patients to services.
• Deliver meals and collect patient trays; ensure patient satisfaction and document intake.
• Process diet changes and document allergies, intolerances, preferences, and interactions.
• Balance nutrients using software per physician diet orders and patient allergies.
• Generate and communicate reports; balance ticket flow with line expeditor.
• Load, transport, and stock meals; deliver to patient rooms and nursing units.
• Communicate patient needs to food and nutrition and nursing teams; maintain safety standards.
