Job summary

Qualifications

• Notes indicate 2-3 weeks of job training.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds with assistance when needed.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare service lines for meal service and serve customers.
• Prepare patient trays and assemble trays as assigned.
• Deliver routine food orders to nursing units.
• Assemble patient nourishments as ordered.
• Requisition and store necessary supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness; handle waste and recycling per guidelines.
• Perform daily floor care as required for hard surfaces.
• Collect menus and deliver to the office for processing.
• Participate in mandatory inservices and department meetings.
