Qualifications

• Previous call center or healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to follow telephone etiquette with patients and professionals.
• Ability to assist with dietary needs and allergies in line with diet orders.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient meal selections and requests via telephone or in person.
• Follow proper telephone etiquette with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Provide alternatives to menu within prescribed diet considering allergies and preferences.
• Address patient concerns promptly or escalate to supervisor when needed.
• Coordinate with nursing to ensure diet prescriptions and patient needs are met.
• Adhere to HIPAA policies and protect patient confidentiality.
• Follow HACCP guidelines during food preparation and distribution.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required by policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
