Responsibilities

• Follow telephone etiquette with patients, visitors and healthcare professionals.
• Offer menu alternatives within diet orders while considering allergies, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Address patient concerns promptly or escalate when needed.
• Coordinate with nursing to ensure diet prescriptions meet patient needs.
