Responsibilities

• Responsible for securing patient meal selections via telephone or face to face interactions.
• Offer alternatives to menu per prescribed diets and patient preferences.
• Respond to patient needs, resolve concerns, and report issues as appropriate.
• Ensure dietary restrictions and diet prescriptions are met in coordination with nursing.
• Follow HIPAA, sanitation, HACCP and related policies; complete required reports.
