Responsibilities

• Provides exemplary customer service, incorporating empathy and responsiveness to create a great patient experience.
• Greets patients, provides intake materials and HIPAA Privacy Practices, and updates patient records in the EMR.
• Handles scheduling tasks, prints clinician schedules, and coordinates appointments.
• Registers new referrals and collects required information for patient charts.
• Open/close and balance cash batches; collects out-of-pocket expenses.
• Answers inquiries regarding Gaylord Health Systems and assists patients and visitors.
