Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of clinical front desk experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• General understanding of HIPAA guidelines.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Google Docs.
• Ten Key experience preferred.
• Dermatology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a welcoming attitude.
• Check-in/check-out patients and collect demographic and insurance data.
• Answer calls promptly and professionally.
• Collect co-payments when required.
• Assist with insurance verification for new and existing patients.
• Schedule appointments and make reminder calls.
• Maintain an accurate end-of-day cash balance.
• Keep waiting area clean and presentable.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Uphold HIPAA privacy and practice policies.
