Beacon Clinic Inc is seeking an Insurance Intake Specialist to verify patients’ insurance information, enter accurate data into the Practice Management System, and help secure timely authorizations.

The role requires compassionate communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with patients and providers to resolve coverage issues, while supporting the billing team and maintaining comprehensive records. Formación

• Experience in insurance verification, patient intake, or similar healthcare role preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance policies, and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Verify patients' insurance information and policy details collected during intake.
• Enter insurance data accurately into the Practice Management System (PMS).
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain authorizations and referrals as required by insurers.
• Monitor and manage insurance authorizations and re-authorization processes to avoid delays in patient care.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions and claims status in the billing system.
• Support billing with timely submission of claims and follow-up on referrals.
