Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification or obtained within three months of hire.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality with patient information.
• Must embody honesty, integrity and caring aligned with Trinity Health values.

Responsibilities

• Know, understand and demonstrate Trinity Health Mission, Vision and Values in behaviors and decisions.
• Performs patient check‑in and ensures admitting process is efficient and compliant with policies.
• Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Schedule appointments according to office guidelines.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, collecting copays and deductibles.
• Copy/scan patient access related materials into the EMR as required.
