LensCrafters is seeking an Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience by supporting eye exams and patient care. You will link the doctor and retail functions, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate data entry into the CIAO system.

The role requires strong customer service, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining HIPAA compliance and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of strong customer service experience.
• Leadership and strong communication skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly with a smile and display a professional image.
• Answer telephone calls in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Assist the optometrist with eye examinations and prepare patients for exams.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully for accuracy.
• Handle patient records in a HIPAA-compliant, organized manner.
• Maintain inventory and assist with contact lens orders and room upkeep.
