LensCrafters is seeking an Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and support optometrists during exams. You will ensure patient comfort, gather medical history, and help link doctor and retail functions.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, HIPAA compliance, and maintaining inventory and the contact lens room. Previous healthcare or retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year strong customer service skills (internal/external).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly with a smile and display a professional image.
• Answer the telephone promptly in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Assist the optometrist by obtaining medical history and preparing patients for examination.
• Review prescriptions and patient information; identify special needs and consult as needed.
• Perform pre-examination testing with accuracy and explain measurements to patients.
