Carbon Health in Marlboro Township, NJ seeks a Medical Receptionist for a fast-paced clinic. You are the first point of contact for patients and visitors, handling calls, scheduling, and front-desk activities with professionalism and empathy.

This full-time hourly role supports patient data entry, payments, and coordination with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a receptionist or customer service role, with healthcare setting experience

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a receptionist, front-desk, or customer service role; medical setting preferred.
• Proficient with Google Sheets, Excel and Word for data entry and records.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first contact for patients, visitors, and callers with courtesy.
• Manage high call volume, route calls, take messages, and answer general inquiries.
• Schedule, confirm, and adjust patient appointments in PM systems.
• Greet, check in, verify ID and insurance, complete required forms.
• Maintain patient records using Sheets/Excel/Word with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate patient flow with clinical staff to minimize wait times.
• Process payments and co-pays per clinic procedures.
• Handle sensitive patient information per privacy standards.
• Perform general admin tasks: scanning, filing, printing, prep.
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment; follow established processes.
• Assist with correspondence via email, faxes, and mail; support fixed-term coverage.
