Preferred Primary Care Physicians, Inc is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist for a practice in the Scott Township area. The role is the initial contact, greeting, directing and assisting visitors and callers with tact and confidentiality, while maintaining professional standards.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, performing check-in/out, updating information in the EMR, collecting co-pays, scheduling appointments and handling cash transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six (6) month medical front office experience.
• Knowledge of the healthcare field and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients as they arrive following office guidelines.
• Check-in patients; verify/update information in the EMR and collect co-payments.
• Check-out patients; schedule necessary appointments and maintain scheduling.
• Answer phones, screen calls and provide information per protocol.
• Handle payments and cash reconciliation; provide clerical support.
• Screen visitors and respond to routine information requests.
