Job summary

Physician Care Centers (PCC) is seeking a Medical Receptionist – Primary Care to ensure an exceptional patient experience from the moment they walk through the door. Under the Office Manager’s supervision, you’ll support daily front desk operations and help maintain a welcoming clinic environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a medical office or related customer service role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures, insurance verification, and EHR systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a courteous and professional manner and manage check-in and check-out procedures.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and collect copayments as required.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Manage front desk workflow to ensure smooth patient flow and minimal wait times.
• Scan, file, and process patient documentation as needed.
• Always maintain compliance with HIPAA and office policies.
• Other relevant duties as assigned by management.
