Job summary

Humana's CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Myrtle Beach is seeking a friendly Receptionist 1 to greet patients, schedule visits, and support clinical staff. You will manage front desk operations onsite, handle confidential records, and help maintain a compassionate environment as part of our TB screening program.

The role requires at least 1 year in healthcare customer service, solid MS Office skills, and the ability to coordinate tasks and communicate warmly with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in healthcare customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers also considered
• Convey information and maintain a positive tone during calls
• Experience coordinating tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient workflow
• Experience using MS Office tools for reporting, data analysis, and workflow optimization
• Experience improving patient care and experience
• This is a patient-facing role and part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. We require TB screening upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
• Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.
• Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information and empathy.
• Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.
• Help with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.
