Job summary

Humana's CenterWell Senior Primary Care seeks a Float Receptionist to welcome patients and support front desk operations across multiple clinic locations. Onsite role focusing on patient interactions, appointment coordination, and accurate records management.

The position requires healthcare customer service experience, ability to coordinate tasks and schedules, and TB screening upon hire. EMR experience is preferred, with travel between clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in healthcare customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers also considered.
• Experience coordinating tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient workflow.
• Ability and willingness to travel between and work at multiple clinic locations as required.
• TB screening upon hire as part of a TB program.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
• Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.
• Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information and empathy.
• Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.
• Help with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.
