Qualifications

• ,2+ years of healthcare infusion intake, infusion coding, and infusion billing.
• Hands-on experience with EHR/EMR platforms, medical billing software, Google Workspace, Slack, Rippling, and Weinfuse.
• Understanding of ICD-10/CPT coding, prior authorization workflows, and payer rules.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and attention to detail.
• Compassionate, patient-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and complete patient intake prior to appointments.
• Coordinate with payers for pre-authorizations and coverage confirmations.
• Enter charges, compile and submit electronic claims per coding/payor guidelines.
• Track claim statuses, resolve billing discrepancies, manage denials and appeals.
• Explain billing policies, out-of-pocket estimates, and copays to patients.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate data entry in the EHR system.
