Qualifications

• 2+ years of healthcare infusion intake, infusion coding, and infusion billing.
• Hands-on experience with EHR/EMR platforms, medical billing software, Google Workspace, Slack, Rippling, and Weinfuse.
• Understanding ICD-10/CPT coding, prior authorization workflows, and payer rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and patient-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Patient Intake & Verification: Review referrals, process registration forms, verify insurance eligibility before appointments.
• Prior Authorizations: Coordinate with payers for pre-authorizations and coverage confirmations.
• Billing & Claims Processing: Enter charges, compile electronic claims, and submit bills per coding guidelines.
• Accounts Receivable & Denial Management: Track claim statuses, resolve discrepancies, handle denials and appeals.
• Patient Communication: Explain billing policies, estimates, and copays with empathy.
• Compliance & Records: Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate data input in EHR.
