Qualifications

• Experience in collections or patient financial services preferred.
• Ability to discuss financial obligations and negotiate payment solutions.
• Proficient in navigating multiple computer systems and processing payments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle difficult conversations.
• Must be proficient with Outlook and Word.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Discuss patient balances and guide payment plans.
• Research billing and insurance issues and educate patients on options.
• Handle high-volume inbound/outbound calls with professionalism.
• Meet KPIs for quality, productivity, attendance and collections.
• Refer patients to appropriate departments as needed.
• All other duties as required.
