Saint Francis Health System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Part-time Patient Financial Counselor to guide patients through billing options, verify insurance, and establish payment plans. The role supports compassionate, accurate financial services for patients, families, and visitors.

You will work Tue-Fri from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm, assist with charity programs, and coordinate with the Patient Accounting Department to resolve billing questions while upholding confidentiality and compliance standards.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• 1-2 years related experience in healthcare or patient financial services.
• Strong communication, negotiation and data accuracy skills.

Mansioni

• Counsel patients by phone or in person to secure payment for services.
• Verify insurance and benefits with patient, employer or insurer.
• Provide price quotes and determine patient liability; arrange payment plans.
• Assist with charity care, government programs and patient financial options.
• Coordinate with Patient Accounting and maintain confidentiality and compliance.
