Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, TX is seeking a part-time Financial Counselor to manage admissions/registrations and initial financial arrangements for patient accounts. The role supports service-excellence standards and works within the UHS family to maintain high patient satisfaction.

The position emphasizes accurate data collection, effective communication, and collaboration with patients, families, and staff to resolve financial matters and explore assistance options.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle financial information and explain payment options.
• Proficiency in typing and basic computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Process admissions/registrations and pre-admission through dismissal.
• Obtain demographic and financial information and arrange payments.
• Assist with initial financial arrangements for accounts and financial counseling.
• Cross-train to other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Director.
