Saint Francis Health System is seeking a part-time Revenue Cycle Patient Access Representative I for evening shifts in Tulsa, OK. The role focuses on registering patients for procedures, collecting accurate demographic and insurance information, and providing exceptional customer service.

The incumbent serves as the liaison between patients and the facility, guiding them through financial responsibilities and appropriate programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years customer service experience or 1 year related experience in health insurance field preferred.
• Experience in hospital precertification and benefit/eligibility verification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other applicable software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for scheduled and unscheduled services in hospital registration areas.
• Verify demographic and insurance information with accuracy.
• Verify insurance coverage and ensure accurate data in patient accounts.
• Complete required documentation in the registration system per policies.
• Provide patient gateway to financial programs and collect payments when appropriate.
• Explain financial liability and triage patients to financial assistance if needed.
• Escalate patient financial concerns to the appropriate department.
• Assist with wayfinding and support patient and family needs.
• Manage workqueues during downtime and ensure timely action on tasks.
