Cumberland Heights Foundation is seeking a Financial Advisor to manage patient financial arrangements for admissions and discharges, enforce credit policies, and set up payment plans. The role requires strong communication, English proficiency, and experience with billing and insurance processes.

The position involves handling self-pay and insurance questions, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with intake and clinical teams to ensure accurate patient responsibility estimates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills essential.
• Ability to learn accounting/clinical software and EMR systems.
• English fluency required; Spanish helpful.

Responsabilités

• Facilitates financial arrangements for admissions and discharge for the patient portion of the account.
• Enforces credit policy and creates payment plans.
• Interact with patients and families to discuss costs and payment options.
• Explain insurance vs. self-pay criteria and collect payments.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and funds.
• Process transactions and post to accounting system daily.
• Assist in after-hours rotation to provide timely financial estimates.
