Cumberland Heights Foundation, Inc. in Nashville seeks a Financial Advisor to coordinate financial arrangements for patient admissions and discharge, while enforcing the facility's credit policy and developing feasible payment plans.

You will interact with patients and families, answer insurance questions, and utilize EMR and payor data to estimate patient responsibilities, always maintaining confidentiality and a compassionate approach.

Formación

• Minimum of two (2) years collections or other Accounts Receivable experience and at least one (1) year of retail banking or other financial experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is required with Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn varied accounting or clinical software, including EMR.

Responsabilidades

• Meet with patients and family members to discuss estimated costs and payment plans.
• Facilitates self-pay admissions and assists patients, family and intake staff with payment questions.
• Collects patient cost share amounts and creates payment plans within guidelines.
• Answers questions concerning insurance and self-pay criteria and ensures accurate posting of payments.
