Job summary

Blessing Health System is seeking a Financial Account Specialist to support patient billing and collections in Quincy, IL. You will interact with patients by phone and in person to explain financial obligations, billing processes, and eligibility for financial assistance programs.

The role sits in the Revenue Cycle team, focusing on accurate data entry, confidentiality, and excellent customer service while coordinating with insurer contacts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive data, work collaboratively and support efforts of team members, demonstration exceptional customer service and be able to work independently
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Inform patients of their financial obligations over the phone and face to face
