Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively; good written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of Epic RC/EMR system preferred; HFMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with financial clearance before, during, or after treatment.
• Update insurance, financial, and demographic information in the Epic system.
• Explain coverage options for co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance; assist with Medicaid, eligibility, and Charity Care.
• Establish payment plans and collect self-pay balances; handle ad-hoc financial issues as needed.
