• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to explain complex financial information clearly to patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient interviews to determine eligibility for financial assistance.
• Verify third-party payer information and potential coverage.
• Assist with Medicaid and other assistance program applications as appropriate.
• Enter patient data accurately into Epic and update status notes.
• Explain documents, obtain signatures, and communicate discounts clearly.
• Coordinate financial clearance for admissions and procedures.
• Resolve billing inquiries and adjust accounts to ensure proper collections.
• Provide support via call center, online, and in-person channels.
• Escort patients to service areas as needed.
