Job summary

Qualifications

• Educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of healthcare, business office, or customer service experience preferred (with healthcare experience).

Responsibilities

• Handle patient calls professionally and respond within 24–48 hours.
• Verify insurance and update information; manage agency billing.
• Determine eligibility for Financial Assistance and process applications.
• Counsel patients at bedside on financial options.
• Refer to Medicaid, Disability, etc.
• Manage department inboxes and work queues.
