Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Calculates estimated procedure costs using CPT codes and explains self-pay portion.
• Determines eligibility for Medicaid or other programs and refers to applicable agencies.
• Educates patients on benefits and Medicaid application processes.
• Maintains knowledge of payer regulations and hospital billing practices.
• Reviews financial assistance applications for eligibility.
