Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years healthcare experience preferred.
• Interviews patients to determine financial counseling needs.
• Educates patients on benefits and Medicaid options.
• Calculates estimated procedure costs using CPT codes.
• Maintains accurate posting of patient payments and adjustments.
• Reconciles daily cash and deposits with reporting.
• Documents accounts in registration/billing systems.
• Coordinate with departments to establish financial arrangements.
• Follow up on accounts flagged in the system.
• Maintain 98% registration accuracy.
• Ensure proper posting and reconciliation with accounting.

Responsibilities
