Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three or more years of healthcare billing, collections, insurance verification, patient access, or financial counseling experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Commercial Insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients and guarantors to discuss insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs.
• Verify insurance benefits and patient demographics in the system.
• Collect patient payments and establish payment arrangements.
• Process charity care and financial assistance applications.
• Maintain collection, charity, and adjustment logs.
• Support timely reimbursement and account resolution.
