Connect Health + Wellness is seeking a Financial Counselor to help patients navigate payment options, insurance details, and financial assistance. You will verify coverage, collect necessary documentation, and maintain accurate EMR records to support a positive patient experience.

The role involves counseling patients on payment plans, assisting with hardship applications, and collaborating with CFO and Billing Manager to determine eligibility for assistance.

Qualifications

• Provide financial counseling to help patients understand payment options and financial assistance.
• Verify insurance benefits and manage proof of income documentation.
• Enter and update patient demographic and insurance data in the EMR with accuracy.
• Coordinate with Front Office to schedule and identify patients needing counseling.
• Assist with hardship applications and coordinate with CFO/billing manager.

Responsabilités

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA while handling patient financial information.
• Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and staff to ensure accurate billing processes.
• Support ongoing training on EHR systems and regulatory guidelines.
