Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a healthcare business office or revenue cycle role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of insurance and benefits and patient Financial Assistance Programs.
• Familiarity with oncology treatment pathways and high-cost oncology drugs.

Responsibilities

• Financial Counseling & Patient Support: Educate patients on expected financial responsibility prior to services.
• Financial Risk Identification: Identify coverage limitations, medical necessity concerns, and out-of-network issues.
• Denials Prevention & Support: Reduce risk of claim denials and assist pre-service financial issues.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain clear, HIPAA-compliant notes.
• Collaboration & Communication: Align with clinical and administrative teams on financial readiness.
• Operational Excellence: Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
