Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide financial counseling for patients regarding hospital financial responsibilities.
• Counsel insured and uninsured patients about financial obligation and estimated liability.
• Support point-of-service and pre-discharge collections, and assist with payment plans.
• Identify all potential payers including auto-insurance, Workers' Comp and insurance carriers.
• Serve as liaison between patients, physicians, access teams and external agencies.
• Complete, submit and follow up on financial assistance and charity applications with documentation.
