Responsibilities

• Destination Coordination: Greets patients and families, provides directions and escorts visitors to destinations while sharing visiting hours and upholding patient confidentiality.
• Environmental Services: Cleans areas, removes trash, changes linens, and reports maintenance issues for follow-up.
• Dietary Services: Assists with meal service according to diet orders, ensures food safety, and delivers trays to patient rooms.
• Transportation Services: Transports patients and equipment between units, inspects transport gear, and logs activity as required.
• Telehealth Cart Retrieval and Set Up: Retrieves telehealth cart, sets up in patient rooms for scheduled visits, and cleans/decontaminates afterward.
• Supply & Equipment Management: Orders and stocks unit supplies, inventories items, and coordinates with supply chain to maintain adequate stock.
• General: Answers unit phones, responds to call lights, engages with patients, and assists with navigation and infection control practices.
