Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Patient & Family Concierge to provide compassionate, generalized service to patients, families, and visitors throughout their hospital stay. The role involves directing visitors, assisting with patient transport, coordinating environment, dietary needs, telehealth setups, and supply management to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in health care or customer service is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Destination Coordination: greet patients and provide directions and escort assistance.
• Environmental Services: maintain clean and safe areas and report maintenance needs.
• Dietary Services: assist with meal delivery and sanitation per guidelines.
• Transportation Services: move patients and equipment between areas safely.
• Telehealth Cart Retrieval and Set Up: fetch and set up telehealth carts as scheduled.
• Supply & Equipment Management: stock, deliver, and organize supplies and equipment.
• General: answer phones, respond to calls, and support unit operations.
