UPMC in Pittsburgh seeks a Patient & Family Concierge to deliver compassionate, top‑notch service to patients, families, and visitors during their hospital stay. You will assist with destination coordination, environmental and dietary needs, patient transport, and supply management to ensure smooth, patient‑centered experiences.

You will work across units, greet guests, provide directions, track patient belongings, and support staff while upholding privacy and safety.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; health care or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families and staff; maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Demonstrates empathy, courtesy and a patient-centered approach in a busy hospital environment.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and families, provide directions and escort assistance to destinations within the hospital.
• Assist with environmental services tasks, patient transport, and supply management as needed.
• Coordinate dietary and beverage service per unit requirements and patient preferences.
• Answer unit phones, respond to call lights, and relay information to appropriate staff while maintaining privacy.
• Support safety and infection control practices and promote a positive patient experience.
