UPMC Western Maryland is seeking compassionate, service-oriented individuals to join our Comprehensive Inpatient Rehab Unit as Patient & Family Concierge. This entry-level role supports patients, families, and visitors with directions, coordination, and a high level of hospitality throughout the hospital stay.

The Concierge role involves a variety of tasks across departments, including patient transport, environmental and dietary support, and supply management.

Formación

• Customer service or secretarial experience preferred.
• Candidate will be placed in appropriate job title based on experience.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and families, provide directions and escort assistance.
• Coordinate patient destinations and confirm visitor hours and policies.
• Assist with environmental services, including cleaning and linen changes.
• Deliver meals and nourishments according to diet orders and safety procedures.
• Transport patients and equipment between units and treatment centers.
• Manage supply room and inventory, restock as needed.
• Answer unit phones, respond to call lights, and assist with patient needs.
