Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

Position Statement/Position Summary

The Patient Family Education (PFE) Program Assistant is responsible for the business services and program support activities in the Family Resource Center. The PFE Program Assistant provides patients families and team members with a positive experience including but not limited to greeting families, answering calls, PFE program referral management, class support and facilitating access to technology, community and hospital resources.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience
  • 1+ year of related experience. Medical front office experience preferred.
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to deal effectively with the public.
  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Required: Fluent in both English and Spanish.
Education/Licensure/Certification
  • Associate degree from an accredited school, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
Pay Scale Information

$43,680.00-$56,212.00

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
