Overview

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Per Diem Care Partner provides patient and administrative support to Nursing staff as necessary.

4 East Hematology Oncology Unit is a 32‑bed unit treating patients with various cancers from leukemias/lymphomas to solid tumors along with blood disorders such as sickle‑cell anemia and hemophilia. Patients are cared for by a staff of highly skilled and compassionate nurses, physicians, and ancillary members of the health care team.

Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience

Able to write, speak fluently, and understand English. 1+ year previous experience as a PCSA, Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred.

Nursing Student Applicants

Completion of pediatric rotation preferred. No new Nursing Graduates.

Education / Licensure / Certifications

High School graduate and AHA BLS required.

Nights 7 pm‑7 am

Pay Scale Information

$23.50–$23.50
