Advanced Obstetrics & Gynecology in Flemington, NJ is seeking a warm and dependable Patient Service Representative to join our team. You will be the first and last contact for patients, helping with scheduling, check-in, and check-out, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring a welcoming, organized experience.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in customer service or patient-facing roles, strong communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.

Formación

• 1+ year of customer service, administrative, or patient-facing experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A warm, professional approach to working with patients.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients and create a positive, professional experience from the moment they arrive.
• Answer patient calls and assist with questions in a friendly, efficient, and compassionate manner.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments with physicians and other members of the care team.
• Complete patient check-in and check-out accurately and efficiently.
• Verify demographic and insurance information and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collect copays and outstanding patient balances and accurately reconcile payments.
• Assist patients with forms, records, and other administrative needs.
• Scan and maintain documents within the electronic health record.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, billing staff, and other members of the practice.
• Help resolve patient concerns or connect patients with the appropriate team member.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
• Contribute to a positive, organized, and collaborative work environment.
• Participate in training and process improvements as the practice continues to grow and evolve.
