RWJBarnabas Health is hiring a Patient Services Representative for the Barnabas Health Medical Group in Branchburg, NJ. This role supports the OB/GYN Specialty Care team, handling patient check-in/out, scheduling, and front-desk duties with a focus on accuracy and compassion.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and experience in a medical office; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred. Day shift, full-time, on-site in Branchburg, NJ, with a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with relevant experience.
• Preferred degrees include Associate's or Bachelor's and medical office exposure.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out patients with professionalism and compassion.
• Review schedules and prepare information for visits.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-ups as needed.
• Answer routine questions in person and by phone with excellent service.
• Handle clerical tasks: copying, scanning, mailing, and filing records.
• Maintain patient health records and ensure privacy and accuracy.
• Coordinate with insurance providers and manage pre-authorizations.
