Job summary

Riverside Medical Clinic is seeking a Patient Experience Liaison (Non-RN) to support the Call Center and Practice by delivering excellent patient service while handling routine call center duties. The role requires professionalism, confidentiality, flexibility, and productive referral management.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication and typing skills, medical terminology knowledge, and 2 years of medical office experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, typing and general clerical skills.
• Medical terminology and two years of medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls promptly with a professional greeting.
• Maintain defined performance metrics according to productivity standards.
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patients per scheduling guidelines.
• Verify and update patient information in the computer system.
• Ensure patients are registered properly and data is up to date.
• Take and route messages for staff and providers.
• Cross-train across clinic specialties for adequate coverage.
• Process referrals and schedule patients from referrals.
• Orient new patients and explain Riverside Medical Clinic's financial policies.
• Manage appointment requests.
• Assist supervisors with varied office duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
