Job summary

Health First is seeking a Patient Service Representative II to deliver friendly, efficient patient experiences. You will gather demographic and insurance data, input into the EHR, schedule appointments, and support multiple specialties with clerical tasks.

Responsibilities include handling communications, collecting patient balances, and presenting financial estimates prior to services. Strong communication and healthcare terminology knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years’ experience with electronic health records system (EHR) OR two (2) years’ relative healthcare experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Healthcare terminology.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients and collects demographic and insurance information.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates referrals across specialties.
• Assists with training new staff on procedures and applications.
• Works across Health First Medical Group to support department duties.

Education
