Zusammenfassung

Jefferson Health in the United States is hiring a Patient Services Associate II for an in-office role with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, plus one evening per week until 6:00 PM on either Tuesday or Thursday. You will streamline patient arrival and departure, verify information, and obtain pre-certifications and/or pre-authorizations using EPIC.

The PSA II focuses on courteous service, HIPAA compliance, and smooth patient flow through exams, with duties including greeting

Qualifikationen

HS Diploma or equivalent required.
Must be able to communicate courteously with patients and/or visitors.
Ability to process and interpret data.
Ability to multi task while managing a time sensitive workload.

Aufgaben

Processes check in and/or check out, point of service activities and/or scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC.
Obtains pre certifications and/or pre authorizations for procedures.
Maintains efficient flow of practice and escalates patient and/or provider concerns as appropriate.
Greets and interacts with patients/visitors in a professional manner, on phone or in person.
Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
Other duties as requested or assigned.
